Manufacturers place pumps and blowers in a standard location that works best for most customers. Each tub has a standard location which is listed on the manufacturers spec sheet.

Pumps and blowers may also be placed in a custom location if it works better for your project. A drawing is required for a custom location. Please note drain location on spec. We are happy to contact you after your order for this information.

Soaking and soaker tubs do not have pumps or blowers. For these tubs choose Tub only (No pump and/or blower).

Island Tub Drain Features

  • Allows for freestanding Tub location to be defined at rough-in
  • Can be installed with Waterproofing Membrane (*bronte NobleSeal TS Recommended)
  • Designed to be installed in a 8" (1-1/2" outlet) or 10" (2" outlet recommended) joist space
  • ITD35 Island Tub Drain is supplied with brass Tailpiece and ABS Adapter Kit to attach to Waste/Overflow (Bath Drain)
  • Allows for freestanding Tub to be installed over finished floor
  • Simply attach the correct Tailpiece (supplied) or ABS Reducing Bushing (also supplied) to the bath drain and lower the tub into the specially designed rubber seal.
  • 18 Gauge Epoxy coated Metal Deck Flange
  • Certified for Canadian and US markets

the tub is perfect. thick square corners. americh is very high quality. the tub was expensive. americh warrants this tub for 35 years!

THICK ACRYLIC AND A GREAT SIZE AT 5.5 FEET. THE PRICE IS HIGH THOUGH. WE JUST GOT IT AND ARE WAITING FOR IT TO BE INSTALLED

The size was what we needed for legroom. the finish is superior. the tub water stays pretty warm for quite awhile. we had the atlas tub installed with the 66" flush with our wall and used a waterfall tub faucet to fill it.
