I was worried about purchasing a vanity online and especially when there were no reviews (at the time), but I was very pleased with my decision. I called the store to ask detailed questions and the man was helpful.
The marble is sealed. I asked someone at a big chain home improvement store about caring for marble, as I was very worried about makeup stains etc. She said to seal it once a year and just be careful not to drink red wine or something in the bathroom! ha. Now,in case you didn't notice, there's no backsplash - I didn't even think about this. But I was able to buy 5 tiles of marble from a stone dealer that matched well. It looks like it came with the vanity.
The vanity has plenty of storage. I was glad to see this. It is well made and the brand is a known manufacturing.
We purchased two Moen Caldwell Brushed Nickel 2-Handle faucets. They match wonderfully and look great with the vanity. The mirror that came with the vanity is also great. It is the perfect size and will save you the shopping effort of trying to find one that matches.
My only complaint with my purchase has nothing to do with the vanity itself but the delivery. When this was delivered (which was within a couple of weeks, which was great), the local company contracted to deliver it sent ONE man in a truck. He refused to take it into my garage unless I paid him. I offered to pay him $20 and he said I would have to pay more. I said forget it. He left it in my driveway. Luckily I had a tarp and my husband was able to use a dolly to move it to the garage. The thing weighs almost 400 lbs so it took 2 men to carry/drag it up to our second floor. I was very disappointed that modernbath did not at least warn me that the delivery company would not bring the vanity into a garage or the house and would leave it in my driveway. Very disappointed in this. So be warned that could be the case. You'll need a tarp to protect the box and at least two people to move it. Lastly, I was also upset with the fact that there is a big pink piece of paper on the outside of the box that says inspect the item upon delivery and note any damage or it will not be taken care of, but the driver refused to let me open the box while he waited. He stated this was not allowed, which is absolutely ridiculous. Luckily nothing was wrong with the vanity or counter when I did open it. I should have reported this, but I never did.
Besides the poor delivery experience, the product itself is great. I am very pleased. The price is great too. I shopped around and found this to be a great price for the quality.
