This 21" unit is a great vanity for a very small bathroom. Fairmount uses high quality solid hardwoods for the construction. The dark cherry finish on this unit lends a very luxurious touch to the bathroom. The hardware is high quality and includes soft close door hinges. My contractor did have to do quite a bit of work in cutting out the back of the cabinet and some of the interior shelf in order to accommodate our plumbing, but that was a minor issue. It does mean, however, that the interior storage isn't as much as it looks prior to installation. The sink which comes with the cabinet is quite large and works well, though it is shallow, so doesn't drain as quickly or as well as a steeply sloped older-fashioned design might. I was prepared to "make do" to some extent with this unit because there are almost no units available for a space this small, but this ended up being a total home run. I am totally satisfied with it. Altogether an excellent buy and a great addition.
fairmont makes a good product and the shaker lifestyle 26" was the size i ended up needing.
